Younger scouts walk under the flag to keep it off the ground while the older scouts and adults are around the outside.
Meet 10:30am on the south side of Whittier Park adjacent to the Civic Center in uniform. It is best to either park or drop off scouts in the city parking lot accessible from River Drive next to Pacific Steel & Recycling’s headquarters since the streets will be closed. Parents need to pick up their son(s) and/or daughter(s) about 30-45 minutes after the parade start from the front of the Civic Center where we finish the parade route. Please make sure they are well hydrated and wear sunscreen.
Please RSVP by messaging Keith at https://m.me/SixSpot if your Scout is going to participate. Keith King is coordinating the effort for the entire city so questions can be directed to him.
