Unit Service Hour Reporting

In order to accurately capture the amount of service hour’s units in the Lewis and Clark District are performing, it is imperative that unit’s log their service hours in the “Service Hours Reporting” module in the scouting.org website.

Once logged into the http://www.scouting.org website, click on the Service Hours Reporting tab under Unit Tools. If the unit has not previously registered, click on the New Users Click Here tab.

To register, a unit will need their Unit ID number. If you use the “Internet Advancement” module, the Unit ID number is the same. If not, then you will need to acquire the number from Lindsey Schreiner at the Montana Council Boy Scout Office or from Lewis and Clark District Executive Kyle Roberts. Both can be reached at 406 761-6000. The rest of the registration process is self-explanatory including the use of drop down menus.

Once logged in, click on the second bullet “Would you like to report a Service Project?” Next you will click on the category that best describes your service project. Lastly, you will record the service project per the instructions and click Submit Report.

It is respectfully requested that a volunteer from each unit be assigned to this very important task. Any questions may be directed to me at dclcmtbsa@gmail.com.  Thank you again for all you do for the youth of the Lewis and Clark District in North Central Montana.
