Scout Night at the Voyagers Baseball Game and Scout Show!

Great Falls Voyagers

Friday August 24th is our annual Scout Night at the Great Falls Voyagers baseball game. This has become one of our largest and most popular district wide events and this year will be the biggest yet!

As always, area Scouts and Scouters are invited to proudly wear their uniform and be a part of the fun night. Once again, Scouts will be a part of the opening ceremony, all of the between inning activities, and of course the ever popular campout and the end of the game! However – this year the Scout Night is also going to be combined with our Scout Show!

Units are encouraged to set-up some sort of a Scout display – it could be a pioneering tower, monkey bridge, dutch oven cooking display, emergency preparedness kits, crafts, or whatever else your boys want to show. Large displays (such as pioneering projects or cooking setups) will be outside the stadium for attendees of the baseball game to wander through on their way into the stadium. Smaller displays (those that will fit on a table) will be located inside the stadium along the third base concourse. All audience members at the game will vote on the their favorite displays (in a variety of categories) throughout the night. During the seventh inning the winning units and their displays will be recognized in front of the whole stadium!

This should be a great way to get the public involved in our Scout Show and add more fun to an already great event.

If you have any questions please call Bill Rutten at 750-1632 or Kyle at 868-5648.

  1. Who will be coordinating this event? Will the cubscouts be participating in the scout show or just the boy scouts? How much will tickets cost? Any other additional information we could get out to our parents would be helpful 🙂

    1. This is being coordinated by Bill Rutten. Yes, absolutely Cub Scouts can participate in the Scout Show! We want all of our Scout units to have some sort of a display set up.
