Cody Palmer, a parent and member of the Pack 26 Pack Committee, died on July 4 in a horrific accident. He leaves behind four children. His son, Owen, is a Webelos Scout who was looking forward to attending Melita Island camp this Summer.

A wake celebrating Cody’s life will be Saturday, 10 am, 1505 21st Ave S. The family requests that attendees bring food and non-alcoholic beverages to the celebration. At the request of family, street clothes—not uniforms—are appropriate for this event.

Cody was a water aerobics instructor at the Great Falls Natatorium. The staff at the Natatorium is putting together a gift of cash to help the family through this difficult time. I think it would make sense for those that wish from Scouting to join the lifeguards in this gift. Please let me know if you would like to contribute.

Cody A. Palmer, 35, of Great Falls, an auto mechanic for Taylor’s Auto Max, died of a head injury Monday, July 4, at his home. A gathering of family and friends is 10 a.m. Saturday at 1505 21st Ave. S. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.
